New Products & Virus Update

March 22, 2020

First, LeRoy and I hope this finds all of you safe and well.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.  Let’s hope all of this is resolved soon and life can get back to as close to normal as possible.

I have placed a few new items up for sale over the week or so.

By popular demand: The Recipe Packs – We have been talking about doing something like this for a while, and you gave us (me) the kick in the pants to put it all together.  The 2018 Recipe Pack and 2020 Chris’ Favorites Recipe Pack are up for sale now, and I plan on putting the new 2020 Fly Recipe pack up for sale after they are named.  I believe the names will be announced tonight on Chris’ fishing report (Tangled Tackle channel 7 pm Sundays on YouTube).  These recipe packs have the Mylar material and bullet heads to make 10 to 12 of each of the bullet heads specified.  I am also working on kits for the original recipes.  They will be broken up into four separate packs instead of one giant pack.

Mini Kits – We have also been talking about this for a while. Some of you may have seen the prototypes on Chris’  Sunday evening fishing report.  There is enough Mylar, bullet heads, and beads to make six flies.  We even threw in a small spool of thread.  Right now the kits available are McKenna’s Magic, Quicksilver, and River Pickle.

I am sure some of you are wondering about the virus situation.  We are all healthy and safe so far.  We will be shipping as long as we stay healthy and the government does not close non-essential businesses down.  I’m sure many of you would argue that fishing is essential, but unfortunately, our Governor probably does not agree.

Let me/us know if you have any questions.

Update – for our Canadian customers, the United States Post Office has posted the following regarding shipping to Canada:

Canada

Canada Post advises that it is experiencing significant disruption to its daily operations due to exceptional precautionary measures taken to minimize spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to considerable disruption with regard to airlines and other transport providers, service quality for international inbound and outbound services will be impacted. Canada Post is therefore declaring a situation of force majeure in relation to all international mail items

For these reasons, we will be unable to guarantee your package will reach you in a reasonable amount of time, or even if it will reach you at all for the time being.  Please consider this before placing your order.
